Evangelism, the spreading of the good news of our Lord Jesus Christ in the power of the Holy Ghost, is a divine command that is highly neglected by many Christians today. In many churches, the ‘evangelism fire’ is out. Paul understood this principle that makes heaven rejoice (Luke 15:10), and he emphatically stated in 1 Cor. 9:16, “woe is me if I don’t preach the gospel.”

For this purpose, our Lord Jesus Christ came “… to seek and to save that which was lost” (Luke 19:10).
